Weight Training

Weight training is a rewarding exercise that will give you the body that you are looking for and deserve. It also increases a person's confidence by making them feel good about who they are and how they look. People looking to improve their bodies will feel great about how their bodies look and feel after a few weeks of exercising and lifting weights.

Muscle Building

Muscle building is one way to work out using weights. You build muscles through lifting close to the heaviest weights that you are able to lift and do smaller reps (repetitions). This will increase the size of your muscles, giving you more definition and build. Most men prefer to do this rather than toning their muscles, because if gives the look of strength faster. However, stamina of the muscles is not built up using this technique.

Muscle Toning

Muscle toning is the other technique for weight training. This uses high repetitions using lower weights and makes the muscles more solid without adding on mass. This is prefered by women who want to have hard bodies but don't want to look chiseled like men. Stamina of the muscles is built up using this technique, but the overall strength of the muscle is not built up as quickly.

Muscle Toning and Building

Most fitness instructors suggest doing a mixture of the two above, giving a well-rounded body workout instead of focusing on either tone or mass. This will increase your muscle stamina and the mass of your muscle. This is the best workout for your health as it will work out all aspects for your muscle groups.

If you want to make the most of your working out, then you should try a diet that is high in protein and low in sugar. Carbs are good, as long as they aren't empty carbs. Try to eat pastas to raise your carb levels and peanuts or peanut butter to add more protein to your diet without raising your risk of heart disease.
