How Do You Gain Weight
Unsurprisingly to anyone is that weight gain is usually associated with metabolism, with a low metabolism leading to excessive weight gain. Although this is well known, some people are still astonished at their inability to gain weight. It seems foreign that some people can gain it so freely, while others remain as twigs while eating more. The reason may be hormonal. Strangely enough, there are hormones that control weight gain. These hormones in some people overwork and so they can't gain weight at all, and in others they don't work well enough so they gain weight far too rapidly. If this is happening to you, then you should go to the doctor. He may be able to fix the problem that is wrong with you.
Ways to Gain Weight
However, if you have gone to the doctor and he is unable to find something wrong with you, then it may be that your metabolism is far too high. If this is the case, then you should try eating quite a few meals through out the day. Five or six is the suggested amount. Some people even suggest getting up in the middle of the night and eating. This is only in extreme cases, and is not suggested because it doesn't allow you to digest your food properly. You may try eating right before you go to sleep and see if that works. If none of those work, then try using protein shakes to bulk up a little bit in addition to the extra meals a day. This will give you the best chance at bulking up in a fairly safe and healthy manner.
If you are still having problems in gaining weight, you can try eating right before you go to bed and then getting up and eating again during the night. This is only for people that have tried the other suggestions for three to four months. If you have not given them a good chance to succeed, then please don't try this more unhealthy way to gain weight.
